Atlantic Neonatal Research Institute (ANRI) – exciting news! Through the joint effort of Midatlantic Neonatology Associates (MANA) and Atlantic Health System the concept of the Atlantic Neonatal Research Institute was recently developed. Even though it is in its extremely early stages of development abstracts are already being presented at research society meetings and manuscripts are in preparation. More information on Atlantic Neonatal Research Institute will be forthcoming as activities and members flourish in this new exciting enterprise. Dr. T. C. Wen, PhD, a well known basic scientist and who developed a new model of neonatal stroke has joined Dr. Sola and Dr. Rogido in the initiation of their laboratory research at ANRI. Hui Peng is their laboratory assistant. Close collaboration is being planned with the Department of Neuroscience at UMDNJ and Dr. S. Levison, PhD.
